Talk about adorable! Between Carolines’ dimples for days, Blairs smile when Caroline gets close and their sweet golden, Leo….it’s just too much y’all! You never know which one of your classmates in high school could end up being your husband. If you did, you might dress differently, hang out with other people, avoid getting that bad hair cut…nonetheless, Caroline and Blair had no idea then, but have since seen the light. Boy, am I glad they did, too! They are seriously, such a great match, their laid back but intentional personalities mesh so well together it is nearly nauseating…but not quite! We started off our shoot at their future home near white rock lake and then headed out to one of my favorite spots to finish out our time together and I am smitten how they turned out!

She was against the rules. “Against NO circumstance are you EVER to date ANY of my friends.” Matt had heard this from his sister for as long as he can remember. She didn’t say this because he wasn’t worthy or good enough, just because there is nothing worse than friend vs. sibling awkwardness. Matt heeded her warning his whole life, that is, until his sister herself leaned over and said “Kindall is a great girl.” “Uh-huh…” Matt replied. “No, like…she is a GREAT girl!” she insisted. She had given him the nod and he heard her loud and clear.  At his sisters wedding (what?!) he would begin to pursue Kindall, a once forbidden bridesmaid, soon to be fiance, destined to be wife.

If I am being completely honest, when behind the camera, I rarely have it hard. But, when I have couples like Kindall and Matt, my job is so easy it is laughable…which they did, a lot! Kindall and Matt are one of those couples that bring joy with them wherever they go. Nervous laughter turns into the real thing so quickly, you rarely can tell when the switch took place and well, who doesn’t love a couple like that? We met in Houston for a Hermann Park engagement shoot and from the very beginning, I knew my job would be to sit back and let them love each other and I am so glad I did. They brought their adorable pups, Lola and Vega along for our session and they were quite the models. I think these four make quite the cute family, don’t you?

True love, God orchestrated, head over heels, bring out the best in you kind of love is easy to spot. It doesn’t even take a conversation to notice this type of love, and it certainly shows off with a wedding only a month and half a way. I met Kayla and Daniel for a quick engagement session out in my hometown at Rockhound Baseball stadium. Baseball literally runs through Daniels veins, his grandpa was an MLB player, manager and scout. Seriously?! I knew I’d like this guy. So naturally, we wanted to honor his grandpa, and Daniels favorite thing, next to Kayla of course by doing baseball field engagements. The land of friday night crushes, watching boys more than baseball and falling in love in the only way your 7th grade heart knows how suddenly embodied the romance my friends and I always hoped would appear during those firework filled, summer nights. Sweet words, wedding anticipation and laughter rang through the empty stadium, as they fell more in love, I became enamored with these two and their faith in the providence of the Lord…God is an intentional God who cares about love stories, romance and dreams and it couldn’t be more evident than it is with Kayla and Daniel…
