Caitlyn + Mark | Brewed Mini Session

Congratulations Mark and Caitlyn! One of my most favorite things about my job, is when my couples contact me post wedding for anniversary sessions. It is so great to see how their love has grown, and to hear about their lives post wedding. Marriage is such an adventure, and shooting my couples again when they have weathered storms together and come out on the other side stronger, better, and more in love, just makes me so proud to be a wedding photographer.

Caitlyn and Mark have such a great, and honest love. Mark is never hesitant to wear his heart on his sleeve, and he is a pro at bringing his wifeys’ gorgeous laugh and smile out for the world to see! Caitlyn, oh Caitlyn…what a gem. She has such a kind and sweet spirit. But don’t be fooled…she is a SASSY PANTS. Just saying. And together…they. are. perfect.

Caitlyn’s sweet friend works at one of the most incredible places in DFW and she hooked us up with a time slot for our mini session…I just about died when I heard the news! If you haven’t been to Brewed, you are missing out. MISSING. OUT. If you love coffee, beer and incredible food…this place is for you. Oh, and did I mention? If Anthro had a house baby…it would be brewed.

Lindsay + Drew | Dallas Arboretum Engagement

You guys…I may move to California. Seriously? Dallas hasn’t had a beautiful day like the one God blessed us with for this session in a LONG time and the sun was showing off for this session. LOVED it! Every single detail about this shoot was in a word, perfect. It wont take you long to see how incredibly cute Lindsay and Drew are, or that they are so photogenic it could make you sick. I don’t think I’ve said “holy moses. stop being so gorgeous!” so many times during a shoot before. Looks aside though, Lindsay and Drew share such a sincere, honest and devoted love. They are encouragers or each other, and so quick to affirm one another’s worth. Couples like Lindsay and Drew don’t come along too often, but lucky enough for me, they aren’t my first couple to make my heart fall in love with love all over again, and God willing, they wont be my last!

Oh! And talk about affirming and encouraging! These two let me shoot my first ever roll of film during their session as well! Will be posting those soon…I hope!

I hope you’re ready to fall in love with love…and let’s be honest here, Lindsay and Drew too.

Kate + Justin | Lakeside Baptist Church Wedding

Kate and Justin are without a doubt one of the most encouraging, kind, and joyful couples I have ever met. It wont take you long to come to the same conclusion! They have a deep love for their church family and decided that they would invite just about everyone they love, and leave the doors open to whomever decided to come, and even on a day with torrential rain, hundreds of people came to celebrate Kate and Justin’s’ infectious love!

I have to be really honest with you…I’ve never sobbed during a first look before until this one. Kate and Justin stood back to back and read the letters they had written for each other, which was then followed with one of the sweetest embraces I’ve ever seen. When Kate began to tear up and reached back and found Justin’s hand waiting for hers…all hope of holding back the tears was lost y’all. Their love is so evident and tangible! The sincere “I love you’s”, sweet kisses and joyful laughter set the tone for the rest of their beautiful rainy day wedding. Thank you so much for sharing your day with me and loving each other so well!

Julie + Dustin | The Historic Baker Building Wedding

I don’t think there are enough words to describe Julie and Dustin and their love for one another, or for their gorgeous wedding day. As is with any wedding, tears were pushed back along with timelines and preconceived plans, but the moment Julie and Dustin saw each other during their first look those tears turned to ones of joy, anticipation and comfort. There is no mistaking a love that can melt fear away as quickly as theirs had, and that moment set the tone for the celebration that was ahead…

Julie and Dustin tied the knot at a beautiful historic building in downtown Lubbock. Rose gold accented the gorgeous building and the beautiful bride. Touches of romance and whimsy brought loved ones together and ushered them into one incredible and true to Red Raider tradition reception. This wedding is one for the books and I am truly honored to have had the opportunity to have a part in it.

I cannot get enough of Sarah and Chadd. They have such a sweet boy meets girl, falls in love with girl, marries girl story and it couldn’t be more perfect!
