Let’s just call this what it is. A classic love story of a girl with a broken heart and a knight in shining armor…
Who breaks up with a girl like Kate? I genuinely don’t know, but there she was. Single and super bummed. She had just bought a brand new dress to wear, and didn’t know when she would get the chance to wear it now, too! Double bummer.
Justin to the rescue! A great friend at the time, he knew Kate was broken hearted and threw a life raft in her direction. “How about you wear your new dress, and we can go out to waffle house?” And so they did…and now, that first date has turned into a promise for a lifetime of dates.
Kate and Justin are SO wonderful. They have so much fun together and made my job seriously, so easy. I love the way they laugh and cuddle close…their love is so evident, my favorite!
OH! PS. How is this for sentiment? The dress Kate is wearing…totally the one from their first date!

I can’t believe that Spencer and Sam have almost been married for a year!! What?!? What’s even better? They are even more in love than they were a year ago, and even more precious. I mean? Do couples come any cuter than this? Don’t think so. Oh! And…their adorability went up ten fold when they introduced me to their awesome puppy, Rudder. This dog, is THE dog. He’s got the looks, the smarts, and the obedience…LOVE him! I am so thrilled to have had the great privilege of photographing one of my favorite couples again!
Sam wasn’t feeling too hot on the night of their wedding, so they brought a replica of their cake to the shoot to re-do all of the fun wedding traditions.
What a gorgeous, and long awaited day!! Exactly 5 years after their very first date, Christol and Chris tied the knot in front of their wonderful family and friends, and it could not have been more perfect! There were such sweet moments throughout the day, it is hard to pin point a few. But, the beauty of this day was most found in the love that all of the guests had in common, a true love for Christol and Chris, and a love for one another. This made for a beautiful, tear filled ceremony, and a reception full of laughs…
I couldn’t be more thrilled for Christol and Chris! They have been on my wedding lineup for such a long time, it is almost hard to see them go!
